2026 Road Bids

TOWN OF DUNKIRK 

ADVERTISEMENT FOR 2026 ROAD BIDS

The Town of Dunkirk is taking seal coat bids for various Town roads. 

 Specific bid information may be obtained from Brian Mikkelson at (608) 219-0358, or at the Town Hall, 654 County Road N, Stoughton, WI  53589.

All bids shall be sealed, marked "Highway Quote," and submitted to the Town Clerk at the town hall up to and including 5:00 PM. on April 16, 2026.  Bids will be opened at 9:00 AM on April 17, 2026, at the town hall.  Bids will be awarded at the Town Board meeting at 6:30 p.m. on April 20, 2026.  The Town of Dunkirk reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept that bid deemed to be most advantageous to the Town.

Town Roads to be bid for seal coat:

   Hoagie Road - Highway 138 to Highway N

   Tower Drive - Highway A to Leslie Road

   Tower Drive – Highway A to Highway 51

   Bass Lake Road - Highway 138 North .3 mile

  Hammond Road - Hannerville Road to Washington Road

Town Roads to be bid for Double Chip Seal

   Black Oak Drive

   Barberry Road

  Velkommen Way - Barberry Road to Town Line

The bid information for shall have the following information (pea gravel):

Road measurement for each road

Price per road for seal coat

The amount of _______ gallons of oil to be used per 20 foot mile & 22 foot mile

The amount of aggregate to be applied per 20 foot mile & 22 foot mile

Work to be completed by August 15, 2026

Warranty of one year.
