Joint Committee Purpose:
This committee works cooperatively to learn about the proposed project and advocates for the interests of their communities. This includes, but is not limited to:
The safety of our communities
Financial considerations of the project’s impact on our roads and infrastructure
Environmental impacts to our soils, water, wetlands, and wildlife
Community impacts to neighboring properties and development patterns
Long-term considerations over the life of the project, all the way to and through the eventual decommissioning of the sites
